On Tuesday 16 May, North Quarter Lane Chambers’ Members and Clerks participated in the annual Queensland Legal Walk.
The Legal Walk raises vital funds for LawRight, an independent not-for-profit community legal centre that improves the lives of vulnerable people by increasing access to justice through strategic partnerships with pro bono lawyers. This year, the Legal Walk raised over $106,000 for LawRight’s three main services: Pro Bono Connect, Court & Tribunal Services, and Community & Health Justice Partnerships.
Overall, North Quarter Lane Chambers contributed $11,215 toward the fundraising total. Chambers has participated in the Legal Walk for over 10 years and is very proud of its continued support of LawRight.
