For over 30 years Rod has advised on a wide range of land use, planning and heritage issues and has appeared in many leading cases, both at trial and on appeal.
His clients have included State Departments, Local Governments and major developers.
Rod has served on the executive of the Queensland Environmental Law Association (including as President) and has held appointments to the Queensland Heritage Council and the Brisbane City Council Heritage Advisory Committee.
For many years, Rod chaired the Bar Association of Queensland’s Environmental, Planning and Property Law Committee, of which he remains a member.
He currently serves as a member of the Urban Futures Brisbane Advisory Panel.
