Biography
YEAR OF CALL: 2017
Amy practises in all areas of commercial law in the State and Federal Courts. She has advised and appeared (both led and unled) on behalf of public and private corporations, State and Federal Government agencies, and individuals. Before joining the Bar in 2017, Amy worked as an associate in the commercial arbitration and dispute resolution team at MinterEllison, as a solicitor in commercial litigation at Holding Redlich and as an Associate to the Honourable Justice G Martin AM of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
She has particular experience in complex disputes in the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors. She also has experience in class actions, arbitration and expert determinations, building and construction disputes, and in various proceedings involving contractual disputes, statutory construction and consumer law.
Amy previously worked as an associate at MinterEllison in commercial arbitration and dispute resolution, primarily acting for private and government owned corporations in the energy, resources and infrastructure sectors, as a solicitor at Holding Redlich Lawyers and as an associate to the Honourable Justice G Martin AM of the Supreme Court of Queensland.
Amy was admitted to the profession in 2012.
