North Quarter Lane Chambers is proud to announce that one of its junior members, Avelina Tarrago, has been appointed to the Legal Aid Queensland Board.
Avelina will serve a three-year term on the Board, working alongside The Honourable Margaret McMurdo AC, the reappointed Board Chairperson. The primary object of the Board is to uphold Legal Aid Queensland’s Service Charter, which aims to provide high-quality legal services to individuals facing financial disadvantage.
Chambers congratulates Avelina on this well-deserved appointment and looks forward to her positive contributions to the Legal Aid Queensland Board.
